Got questions

Frequently asked questions

Things most people want to know before getting started.

01

What types of projects do you work on?

I primarily build custom web applications, backend systems, REST APIs, internal tools, business automation platforms, dashboards, and SaaS products. Most of my work involves Python, Django, Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, MySQL, React, Astro, and Next.js(SSR).

02

What technologies do you use?

My primary stack is Python, Django, Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, MySQL, TypeScript, React, Astro, and Next.js(SSR). For background jobs and automation I use Celery and Redis. I also use FastAPI for lightweight APIs and specialized backend services. For most business applications, I primarily work with Django and Django REST Framework due to their rapid development capabilities, strong security features, built-in administration tools, and mature ecosystem.

03

Do you work alone or with a team?

I work independently and handle the development work myself. This means communication is direct, decisions are faster, and there is no handoff between project managers, designers, and developers.

04

Can you work with an existing codebase?

Yes. I regularly work on existing applications, whether they need new features, API integrations, bug fixes, performance improvements, refactoring, or long-term maintenance.

05

Do you build both frontend and backend?

Yes. I provide full-stack development services, handling everything from database design and backend APIs to responsive user interfaces and production deployment when included in the project scope.

06

Do you handle deployment and production setup?

Yes, if deployment is included in the agreed project scope. I can assist with server setup, application deployment, databases, domains, SSL certificates, environment configuration, and production releases. Ongoing infrastructure management and maintenance can also be arranged separately.

07

Do you use UI libraries and component frameworks?

Yes. When it helps deliver a reliable product faster, I use well-established UI and component libraries rather than rebuilding common interface elements from scratch. The choice depends on the project's requirements, design goals, and long-term maintainability.

08

How do you price projects?

Depending on the project, I offer fixed-price, hourly, or ongoing retainer arrangements. Fixed pricing works best for clearly defined requirements, while hourly or retainer models are often better for long-term development and evolving projects.

09

What happens if requirements change during development?

Changes are normal. If new requirements affect the scope, timeline, or budget, I'll discuss the impact with you before proceeding. No additional work is added without approval.

10

Will I own the code and project assets?

Yes. Once the project has been fully paid for, you receive ownership of the custom project deliverables along with access to the source code, repositories, and project assets, subject to any applicable third-party licences. But i can use any generic code, libraries, or components I created for your project in other projects, as long as it doesn't include your proprietary code or assets.

11

How do we communicate during a project?

I provide regular progress updates and communicate through whichever channel works best for the project, including email, Slack, Discord, Notion, Jira, or other project management tools.
